About Ecommerce & Retail

Welcome to the shopfront stage. This category gathers the products and businesses that sell to people: online stores, the platforms that power them, the suppliers behind the stock, the marketplaces that bring buyers and sellers together, and physical shops with a doors-open date of their own.

Each listing is a reveal in its own right. You can see what a business sells, who it is for and how it presents itself before you click through. Browse the subcategories to narrow the view, then use the filters to refine it. Listings appear newest first, so fresh arrivals meet the spotlight early, and you can sort by community votes to see what visitors have backed. Votes can never be bought.

If you run a shop, a supplier or a marketplace, this is where your launch belongs. Your main category is chosen when you submit, and it is included free.

Ecommerce & Retail: questions answered

What belongs in Ecommerce & Retail?
Anything whose core business is selling goods or enabling others to sell them. That covers online stores, store-building platforms, dropshipping tools and suppliers, marketplaces and physical retail shops. Software that only touches selling at the edges is usually better placed in a more fitting category.
How do I choose between the subcategories?
Pick the one that describes what you do for your customer. Sell your own goods online and it is an online store. Supply or source stock for others, choose dropshipping. Connect many sellers with buyers, choose marketplaces. Trade from a physical premises, choose retail shops.
How do I get listed here?
Go to /submit and paste your website address. An AI drafts the profile from your site, then you check and edit every field before anything goes live. You choose one main category at submission, included free. A paid upgrade adds more categories if your business spans several.
How are listings ordered?
Newest first by default, so recent launches appear at the front of the stage. Visitors can switch to sorting by community votes. Votes can never be bought, so that order reflects what the community has actually backed, not what a business has paid for.
What should I compare when choosing a shop or platform?
Look at what is actually sold and to whom, how clearly delivery and returns are explained, and what support is on offer. For platforms and suppliers, check how easily you could leave later. The profile and the linked website should answer most of this.
